History made by Vikram Sob in his debut

Nepali national cricket team fast bowler Vikram Sob has made history. He made history by taking wickets in his debut match in ODI cricket. Vikram has now become the first bowler to take a wicket in ODI cricket from Nepal. Vikram achieved this feat by taking the wicket of Tony Ura in the first ODI against Papua New Guinea. He bowled out Ura for 1 run.

Vikram is ranked 28th in the list of first wicket-takers in ODIs. Earlier, 27 bowlers had taken wickets on their first ball in this format. Vikram managed to take wickets in the first two overs. He managed to dismiss captain Asad Bhala for 4 in his second over.

Along with Bikram, Kushal Bhurtel and Ashif Sheikh have also made their debut today. Important players in the team Binod Bhandari, Karan KC and Dipendra Singh Airy have been rested.
